LFS Global Logistics Group (LFS£© is a global association
of regionally prominent independently owned freight
forwarders and logistics companies. LFS was established
in direct response to customer need for integration
of service, flexible programs and attention to detail
which independent companies can best satisfy. The
Network currently has over 30 member companies¡¯
worldwide providing services.
What
is the minimum size shipment?
LFS companies do not have a minimum shipment size
and can handle one small item or a warehouse full
of merchandise. Please check with the agent in your
territory to confirm rates and services in freighting
your goods.
How
can I obtain shipping rates?
Once you have obtained contact information from
the LFS agency list in the destination location,
send a message to the agent requesting rate information.
You may send an email message directly from the
Web page or contact the agent by fax or telephone.
Have the details of your shipment such as weight,
dimensions, and desired transit time available.
Most agents will be able to respond to your request
within 24 hours.
How
do I know I can rely on member companies?
LFS's Membership Committee carefully screens all
prospective companies for financial stability, position
in the marketplace and standards of operation. All
companies sign a Member Agreement and must abide
by the organization's bylaws, which outline service
and operations expectations. LFS companies have
built their reputations by offering the best possible
services at the best prices. Many companies are
ISO certified, indicating consistency in business
procedures, practices and services. The Corporate
office monitors service issues.

There are two ways to look for a company: by region,
or by custom search.
By region: From the home page, click on the words
next to the globe indicating the region you are
interested in ("Europe", "North America"
etc.) and you will go to a page showing a regional
map and drop down menu with gateways listed. Simply
click on the map in the country or gateway for which
you would like an agent, or click on a country or
gateway in the drop down list and you will be shown
address and contact information for that office.
By custom search: At the bottom of the home page
there is a box titled "Search LFS Company Directory
for contacts, address, email, phone and fax".
Type in the information you are looking for (country
name, company, gateway, etc.) and click the "Search"
button. The next screen will show contact information
for the appropriate office.
